The best advice I can give you as 24F is wait the year out. Look for other jobs beside your pervious one to gain more experience. You will know what question to ask at the interview to make sure aligns for you. Then can you hop back after two years because the experience you gain at those other two companies will make you more valuable. For future record when you get an offer from another job and you like where you work bring it to them and tell them to make you a better offer.
MBB is not for everyone. Their avg tenure is 2 years that says something. Grass is always greener. Choose what you like. All the best!
OP, you might want to give it more time. I was an experienced hire of McK, never having worked in consulting. I also came from a small company with a great culture. It took me about 1.5 years to settle into McK. I went through a lot of anxiety and depression. I’m now 5 years in and love it. McK can be a very challenging change. For me, it just took adjusting to the new culture, finding projects/people I enjoyed working on, learning the massive amount of McK nuances and expectations that can intimidate and resources that could help me, and simply time to “get some wins,”which led me to feel more confident. Also, finding “my people/support system” helped a ton. All that takes time. I’d suggest therapy (if you haven’t) and a little more time. Otherwise, you might be missing an opportunity. Additionally, if you go back to your old job, it might not feel the same and you might remember some reasons you might have forgotten for why you left in the first place. OP, my thoughts are with you: best of luck no matter what you decide.
I can relate to, moved from D to m. I am always more overwhelmed tbh

Why is that?
Expectations are normally not normal so your always trying to do more
Don't look for more in your work than it can be. It's just a job.
Happiness can be both complex and simple. Giving of yourself with bring you happiness. What is that for you?
You can always go back if you didn’t burn your bridges
I feel like I’ve been under the microscope for months. There’s a lot of pressure on me “succeeding” so my every move is being watched. Also Bain puts the “cult” in culture so not easy to integrate as a senior hire.
Continuation:
Though I am working, I guess I am slipping into depression due to overthinking. Somehow, I feel the job satisfaction I had in Deloitte (in spite of slightly less pay) is lost.
Do you think you had better or more friends while working at Deloitte? Maybe finding more social activities after work would hrlp
OP do you mind sharing what your TC was at Deloitte compared to McKinsey and what the approximate difference in work hours is? Thank you!
Big and big on both lol
