I am in cloud engineering. My current salary is 140k and this is my milestone year to become manager. I have been getting offers from non FAANG companies but capped at 150- 165k. All roles are typically through service companies and of cloud engineer profile. My dilemma is that I don’t know if I should exit to lesser known firms since brand is of some importance to me. 1. Outside counsel has been prepping company witnesses for a trial in August. It is my subject area so I am supervising outside counsel. I did not, however, choose the counsel. He is doing a really awful job. Co counsel is better, but not great either. Higher ups love the firm… I do not want to micromanage, but I have genuine concerns about outside counsel’s ability to try this case.
