I am starting my career and got a campus placement at UST as a developer with a 4.2 LPA package. However, I want to become a data analyst or scientist. UST's training starts tomorrow. I plan to learn data skills in 2-3 months (I know Python, Pandas, and some SQL, Power BI, and Tableau) and apply for jobs after completing a few data projects. I also believe the offered salary is lower than my potential, as I think I can get 15-20 LPA. What should I do during the training, and how can I decide?
