I am struggling to find a job in UX, I received my Master's in UX Design from Kent State University last year with a 4.0 GPA but that doesn't seem to matter. I have applied to hundreds of posts with barely any replies back. My education has taught me a lot however I feel I need the work experience to be taken seriously. I have applied to many junior and intern positions with no luck. How do I break in to the UX field with an education but no job experience?

Hey y’all. I went through an exceptionally traumatizing experience a few years ago that has totally & utterly shattered my confidence, self worth, self esteem etc. I have a hard time portraying my work experience + deserving of a new role.

I currently handle commercial transactions in the marketing/advertising space (e.g., production, talent, licensing agreements). What firms would you recommend that I target? year. I always found the legal work
more interesting but limited in career

What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?

Hey! I'm just about to start doing some freelance work for a NYC based boutique design studio, and I need to give a hiring manager my hourly rate to give his customers. I am new to UI/UX design. I have experience in graphic design, but I just completed a certificate in UI/UX design so other than school projects I don't have an extensive amount of experience. What would you suggest I should charge? I am more interested in gaining experience than needing the money, but want to be payed reasonably.

I am product designer with a fair amount of experience (6yrs).

Recently was interviewed for a Sr. role in Booking but unfortunately the team finds me better suited as a core individual contributor.

I am also in the advanced stages of some lead designer positions in other companies.

However I am really interested in joining the team at Booking, especially because of the design culture.

What should be my reasons to accept or not accept the offer from booking?
