Should I keep it a secret that I got into a deferred b-school program?

I'm currently looking at lateral opportunities at other consulting firms and I'm wondering if it's worth bringing this up since I come from a non-target school. If I do I was planning on weaving in how I'm looking to get sponsored for my MBA (which is true) so people don't think I'm a flight risk.

At what point is an MBA useful in your career? I know it’s not required, but the best bosses (ECD and/or VP level) I’ve worked under had one. Wondering if it’s a coincidence or if there’s actually something to it.

Are there any Asian Americans who have gotten into T15 schools with median or below median test scores? Give me hope. 😅

What do you think made you stand out if it wasn't your test scores? What did you do to offset your test score weakness?

I would like some help with GSAP. I’m GPS 1yr. Consultant. I would like to apply for master’s. I haven’t found any resource in DNet regarding it. When I called the call center, it seems like GPS are not qualified for GSAP? Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to apply or do they find you? What criteria do they go off of? Is GSAP like fight club where we don’t talk about it? Help would be nice

Companies sumtym prefer selecting guys who did their bachelor's from some private shitpot college than someone from a very good government college.

If someone has showed grit in past by toiling to get into top 10 colleges - he is going to give company better results in operational efficiency and creativity than a guy who scored 50-60% and spend lakhs for admission without any struggle?

The program says it’s pretty selective and it’s at a prestigious school, but I am not sure if the content I’m learning is worth the 60k tuition price. Does anyone know how to successfully transition from academia clinical research into industry clinical operations? I’m currently at a director level of a large research program in academia and oversee operations. Prior to that I was a clinical research coordinator with extensive trial experience from study startup-close out. I’m not sure what level would be a good transition step and open to new roles/opportunities as well.

Anyone experienced this? The Amazon recruiter let me know last week that I passed the bar and received an Inclined decision. However, the position I was interviewing for (HR partner AWS) is no longer available due to headcount. She's trying to find other suitable roles. Working on an excellent Regional HR Director opportunity for a publicly traded company. Will be responsible for an 11 state territory, population of 1800. About 30% travel. Preference for candidates in TN, MI, or IN. Exceptional leadership, values and culture.

I’m interviewing for an early career HRBP role and I’m looking to see if anyone has some insight on the potential salary range. I did some research and found that an HRBP is usually $100k+. The recruiter asked what my salary expectations are and considering the fact that it is a developmental role I said $80k - $90k, to which her response was “that’s a bit high”. Any thoughts to what would be considered a reasonable range for this role? I’m based in Houston, Tx , 4 YOE, and an HR certification.

Has anyone ever had enough of HR and just wanted to do something else? I got sick of the hypocrisy between what HQ publicly says and what they actually do. I switched to consulting, I really miss helping people find and grow in great jobs but I was done being the scapegoat for people not getting their promotions or increments or internal movements.

I’m currently a hr specialist and have 3-4 years experience in hr with 10 years fully admin. I’m now level 7 cipd qualified with a masters in HR and struggling to get into a hr manager role as I’m way overqualified for the role I’m in now. How hard is to break into manager role?

I am a HR Generalist, I was called into my managers office and she informed me I was getting a verbal write up because she claimed I never told her that a supervisor was secretly changing peoples pay rates. I then said , that is untrue and I have screenshots that I sent to you on teams and a email that states I informed you of these issues back on June 6th. She then oh okay the write up is dismissed. Am I being to emotional to still be upset about this ?
