I completed my final Google PM interviews 5 weeks ago, and followed up the recruiter at the end of week 4 (no response yet).

Starting to look for a part time nanny now we’re going back to office (3 days a week). Total newbs here and just starting the process. One potential nanny asked for PTO and vacation days (and being paid if we don’t need her one of the agreed upon days). This makes sense, but is this typical? I’m in LA.

I’m applying for for profit Assistant Project Manager jobs. What’s a good salary for assistant PMs? Is $50,000 - $60,000 average or too low? I’m a constant learner & excellent worker but get imposter syndrome. Constantly fighting the thoughts that say “you don’t deserve that much”.

I manage const for eng companies. Got short video interview, then a job offer @ low end my req. range. Experience: it’s normal to travel for a 2nd interview in person. Result: I see quitting to do this as risky. I asked for more $ than my prior range & explained I prefer we meet in person to see if it’s a fit 1st. Hiring manager wants me and may push for the $ but not the in person meet. Wonder if it could cause me to start there with less trust if they think I abused my position for more $.

Anyone regret jumping to industry after they stuck it out til manager in PA? Interviewing for roles that seem exciting in industry but am starting to doubt myself

I am new to US job market - and I have been working in B2B sales for almost 2 decades for an international ICT/Télécommunications provider in Europe.
I know that I cannot expect to start here in the US where I left my precious job as Sales Manager and I am fine with that.
But what can I demand in terms of salary (base/commission/boni) in the DC area? I am currently in the middle of an interview process and the company offered 60k base salary.

(1/2)Has anyone ever had their contract end early with no warning? I was hired as an “agile social designer” for a big box retailer as a freelancer. The gig posting said it was a couple months (until the end of june) but when I interviewed they said they were actually gonna extend me until next February. Anyways now they’re saying the whole agile team may be eliminated and I didn’t get any new work assigned this week… I’m kind of freaking out bc I thought I’d at least have until next month.

I’m a FTM that recently was diagnosed with antibody induced hypothyroidism. I’m currently at 19 weeks and have been on the lowest dosage of the thyroid meds since the beginning of my pregnancy. My TSH levels went up suddenly to around 4.1 ish and the doctor was a little puzzled as to why that happened, and did a blood test and saw I had antibodies against the thyroid gland. This happen to anyone? Was just anxious.

Had a final round at an investment bank and got an HR call shortly after that I did well and they’d be in touch in a week.

Followed up after a week and they told me to wait a few more days. Has now been 3+ weeks. Can I follow up again?
