I completely bombed the Mckinsey coaching session ( it honestly has been the worse performance of my career ). How poorly will this reflect of the next interview steps? i’m honestly disappointed.

Last week I got automated call from infosys and asked few details . After that I got call from hr and said my interview is scheduled on next week and very next day one person called me and asked few technical questions .she said she's calling from infosys and this is technical screening round . Today same hr called and said she will be scheduling a client interview.

My doubt is till now I didn't received any mail from infosys. So this is scam or part of infosys interview process?

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. Should a remote job’s salary be based on where I live or the company? For instance, I’m interviewing with a SF company for a role that has the ability to be remote (I live in portland). They gave me the “portland range” when talking about salary. What if I later on decide I no longer went to be remote but come into the office and be in SF area. What’s the typical approach with salary for jobs that can be remote?

I’m in FDD… I know I signed up for this but there’s something about the anxiety that comes on a Friday knowing that we still didn’t get access to VDR .. and how that anxiety grows as you enter the long weekend knowing that access can happen at any minute (or not) and you have to tippy-toe on the idea of potentially cancelling on your memorial weekend plans. I know the unpredictability of our job but phew 😮‍💨

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?
