I currently have a job in a family office making 95k plus a 15-20% bonus given in February as a tax accountant, WFH 2 days a week. I’ve been working there for approximately 8 months. I got an offer from EQX for 135k no bonus as a sr partnership acct, I’d be the only one on the partnershp team,WFH 1 day a week. Im not sure if I should stay and wait for the bonus and then look for a different job or just leave now? I enjoy working from home but not sure if this new companies office will be better.

The same usual bonus for EY India folks. Doesn't at all add up to the chest thumping we do as a practice during the town halls.
On top of this remote working ki naam pe bijli ka bill 10k per mahina aa rha hain. And the tech salaries pumping inflation in the economy. The same place which was available for a 35k is quoting 50k. I wish atleast the hike is inflation beating :/

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I got an offer from hcl and they are offering very less hike on my current CTC around 20% even fixed part is less than my current fixed amount.

Client Connect is the biggest piece of shit. Can't purge or export documents (error); laggy as hell; can't manually set client passwords or delete old users. It's the GDM of software basically

Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.
