Hello Mastercard employees. I have been trying to break into MC for long now.
I have 2 yrs workex post MBA. I have experience in data analysis and consulting. But I don't want to get into consulting anymore. I am looking for analytics roles. Anyone here would be able to DM and guide me on the available options at Mastercard?

Hi, I was able to become a math coach without a masters- I don’t think you need one. I gave 110% engagement at the PDs provided by the partnership at my school, took in class (pre covid) coaching to its fullest benefits, and implemented things from PD. I eventually stood out to my coaches who then recommended that I start training to coach at my school. I was lucky that we didn’t have that position hired at the time. IMO, if I didn’t teach, I would definitely do full time coaching (opposed to an admin position) as I would still be able to be in the classroom. I was also considering a masters. From the ppl that I talked with, it really doesn’t matter what program you go to, so do something you are interested in. At the end of the day, the type of program doesn’t change your pay bump (from what I heard). Hope this helps.
Super helpful! Thank you!
Concordia University in Irvine CA has a good and affordable (15k) online masters program in educational technology.
I also got my degree at Concordia University online. I got my degree in curriculum and instruction with a mathematical emphasis. It was great to do online and did not feel like I was overloaded. I was also teaching full-time and was a full-time mother while my husband was out over the road.
