Just signed the outside employment form in KPMG onboarding system. I actually wanted to start dabbling in creative writing as a potentially monetizable hobby, but I'm guessing this may pose issues.
Definitely interested in the "exception from this policy may be requested if provision of non-professional services doesn't interfere with one's duties of causes conflict of interest" clause, though. Has anyone been able to get one of those before?

May I know what is the notice period if one resigns in infy during the first 6 months of joining? I am a lateral resource and they hired me in June, but they have no projects related to my tech and want me to take weird roles.. seems they are hiring to increase employee count and cross training most. just looking for options..

Hi,
My last working day was 11th Nov and I submitted my asset to TCS location and got the Initial release letter as well. Later on 17th or 18th of Nov, I got a message from TCS that they have sent the Packing material through Vendor, please accept it.
I didn't accept the material and cancelled it when the delivery boy came to my location.
So, is it going to create any problem in getting reliving letter? Share your thought please

A reasonable rate is your normal hourly rate with a 10% - 20% discount given the number of hours. The point of the fee cap isn’t to allow them to get a full time GC at a significant discount—it’s to give them protection against an occasional very expensive month.
I imagine they could hire someone for $250 or maybe less and abuse the shit out of them, so I wonder if that’s a reasonable target? A 20% discount on my best rate would still bring me in around $350k and I’d like to keep the business, its a nice block of time vs. multiple smaller clients…

It sounds like this customer is spending $144k/annum on you given the provided numbers, and you’re already taking a hit in billable rate. IMO the customer should hire full time legal and drop the fractional conceit.
