This is what happens when the Stanford Prison Experiment goes on pause
Take it easy. It all averages out in the long run. So no need to be guilty.
Enjoy it. Seriously. Take the time to focus on other hobbies, mental health, online courses or whatever. You’re in a great situation.
Seize the day. It is what it is, so leverage it to your advantage. I remember being in a similar position a couple years ago where I just had a ton of free time (even when I tried asking for more things to do). Eventually I gave up asking and then leveraged the my companies education stipend to get certifications then eventually when a better opportunity came along, I leveraged the certifications to get a better job.
Yup, definitely doing this now. Got a prosci certification, now doing SAFe, and Green Belt. May as well take advantage. Also doing some training on my own for things like excel and project leadership.
It’s a stupid reason to complain, but I’ve never been in this situation before and it’s strange to not be swamped

Same boat. Even making the same $. I feel frustration more than guilt tbh. I feel like I’m not doing anything to grow my skills or my career in this role.
Hire me.
You are a senior consulting making $115k per year....you should be frustrated, not guilty.
Oh you’re rich! Nice!
