I gave a series of interview and submitted all documents on Accenture portal. Hr negotiated salary and confirmed on call.

Now after all the efforts a different HR calls me back and reduced a major portion of CTC and said we can't offer more than this.

Is this a negotiation gimmick?

I told them right on the first day itself that if you can't give me my expected CTC let's not waste each other's time.

Will they call back?
It doesn't hurt me much as I have one more offer in pipeline.Pls help

I got an offer from accenture 8lpa fixed 1.68 variable n the position is level 11.
Now i have better offers from pwc n kpmg
10lpa fixed.
Will accenture increase their offer. They wer not even ready to go till 8.5 last time. But now i have other offers in hand. Is it possible to go back and ask for improved offer n position even though i have accepted the old 8lpa offer from accenture 1 month back.
