Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

Got put on a PIP with a 4 at year-end a while back, got a 2 and promo the next year. Unlike many companies where a PIP is just a witch hunt to justify firing you, you can legitimately improve and get over it here
Did your counselor know you are autistic? I suppose it isn't really anyone's business but that combined with being German are legit justifications for being perceived "abrasive". I'm sorry this happened to you OP
@D10- I really like the way you put that. Very encouraging. That thought lifted my mood on a gloomy Saturday. Thank you so much. I will do that.
That's some tough feedback, @OP. Do you think it's justified, and is it something you can/want to change?
Don't forget OP, if you got a signing bonus they'll claw some or all back if you leave now and you likely won't be able to boomerang later. It sucks to get kicked in the balls, but if it was fair feedback you can recover.
Where were you scatterplot? I was 60% util and bottom 10-15% of scatterplot and got a 3.
I would ask them to provide you an outside coach or use the internal coaching program. They have a program for folks in your situation. You can absolutely recover from a PIP but you must over correct to make the change be seen. Only you can decide if you want to adjust the behavior.
Yeah definitely want to work on that and change it, but I have also heard that people on PIPs usually get fired anyways. So if it's inevitable why stay?
Did they put you on a PIP? They didn't with me
D7- I talked to him before and I had an inclination that there was something amiss. My managers were all very frank about me in consensus but alas none of them said anything to be beforehand. I'm not sure why. I wish I would've known this sooner.
Proud to call you a colleague! Good luck!
It wasn't at Deloitte, but I was out on a PIP in my first job and it was he best thing to happen to me professionally. It opened up a clear space for honest feedback /ongoing discussion and ended up getting taken off with min a few weeks.
And none of this feedback came up during your bi-weekly check-ins?
Let them fire you and take the severance
OP Just because your style doesn't fit there doesn't mean it won't fit anywhere else. You should definitely start looking
OP - what practice are you in ?
PwC5- I may find someone I trust within the firm to talk about this with. I love what I do and I like my coworkers. I have so much to learn from them. Absolutely want to work out steps and a plan to rectify this.
Showing that you are willing to accept the feedback is a great first step. Perception is reality in our industry unfortunately and you have to know that the world is shaped by it. Keep your head up and just do your best. Seems like you have a good heart and that is worth a lot in this life we all struggle to get through. All the best.
@OP during college I worked at an autism center, and what you're saying as offputting to neurotypical folks is totally understandable. I've worked with a lot of people with autism, and it's totally workable. You can do this! Happy to provide my burner if you want to chat. I have ADHD and got a coach to take care of my wretched feedback :)
You can do it! Stay and make a few improvements! You've got this!!!!
If you want to work at Deloitte, take it as an opportunity to grow and get uncomfortable, don't just take it as a sentence
I got a 'needs improvement' rating the first year I joint the firm. There is always opportunity to learn and grow. Humble yourself. Negative feedback is never easy. Seek the good and take heed .
