Take it for the boost. But start looking for a new opportunity almost immediately. As new responsibilities pile up, add them to your resume. That’s just my opinion
depends what level but taking the promotion can make it a lot harder to find time to interview (unless you do it truly immediately)
What were the levels and numbers?
I mean, do you have another offer?
I had a coworker who I really respect who declined a promotion for over a year and a half (finally took it recently) because he wanted to slow down a little bit and spend time w/ family.
With C1 on this. Use it a resume boost and start looking. Extra pay can’t hurt and in this economy, finding another position isn’t always easy or quick
Maybe… is there a chance for negotiation?
