Sounds like she really values time and communication with you. If you have different preferences, you should be transparent. How often would you like to communicate with her on days you are not seeing each other. If you never express what you’re comfortable with, she’ll never know. If it’s not that big of a deal to you and you’re just wondering if it’s weird, every relationship is different. Some couples love constant communication and some value space.
I’m not a phone call person during the work day- that’s annoying lol. But I definitely text a fair amount during the day, knowing the person will see it and respond when they are able. Depending on your job the call multiple times a day may be a lot depending when they’re happening. I let my husband know when we started dating that during work I don’t take calls unless absolutely necessary. My phone is on DND during the business hours. And I probably only had time for may be 1 long call in the evening. Or maybe a short call before and after work. But we always texted everyday.
My wife is a doctor and leaves home before the sun rises. I don't call or text unless it's a real emergency. Everything else can wait. Unfortunately our kids don't understand this concept.
