I had a friend say they wouldn't get the covid vaccine because they're worried about safety. Seems foolish to me

So… 3.5 year relationship came crashing in Jan due to covid depression, work burn out, lockdown etc. We have stayed in contact and recently he has come around to apologizing and considering getting back together. However he also revealed he started seeing someone casually 4 weeks ago and technically is cheating on her by meeting me for coffee and to discuss this. I’m upset that he’s dating others but shouldn’t be right? I mean, I did the same. Still hurts though. And I told him to sort that out

I've been working out since early 2020 6x/ week and lost ~30lbs. However, I didn't adjust my eating -only switched to an intermittent fasting schedule (eat between 12-8pm). Now, I'm trying to focus on better eating. I struggle with sweets - If it's around me, I need it all lol and Uber eats is a weakness bc of all the dessert places! My meals are relatively balanced so not a major issue...

I've heard of intuitive eating but sounds a bit fluffy (lol) - other tips? What has worked for you? Help!!

Anyone else finding it very difficult to get any enjoyment out of account management these days? Any coping tips? 6’0 and weighed in at 220lbs today. All time high and have gained 20lbs since gyms closed in March. When I did workout it was more or less 100% compound lifts. I’m now limited to a few kettlebells but am not even close to as consistent as I was. Any idea on how I can lose this excess 20lbs? I feel like it crept up over night.

I went to the lease this last weekend. Not one drop of alcohol was had. That was the closest I’ve come to caving. 4 wheelers, killing dinner with big guns, doing manly things in God’s country. Beer is an absolute necessity during these events. Anyhow, I didn’t drink. Proud of myself. Monumental moment for me.

I’ve never had marijuana. But the nurse gave me a Valium before my embryo transfer. I felt quite relaxed and good after taking Valium. Is it the same feeling as taking marijuana? Any sister who has had both can share? Thanks!

COVID 19 crisis should make all states compact for licensing. Precious time was lost while nurses who wanted to work waited for states to pass emergency laws.

I’m an RMA for a dermatologist, I assist with skin surgery, work up patients, call patients with path results, and various forms of paperwork. I basically run the office and I think I need to be paid more. For a person in my shoes with two associates degrees and three certifications, what’s a good pay rate?

The lack of appropriate PPE affected my health in other ways. I have a latex sensitivity and we ran out of Nitrile gloves. For awhile I had to take an antihistamine to keep from having full on hives.

So as we were the first to get hit with COVID in NY, we are seeing declines in numbers now. Travelers are cut short of their contract, our hours are getting cut, and staffs are laid off. Got a call yesterday from HR that now staffs need to file for unemployment to compensate for the lost hours. We risked our lives for this fight, now they are letting us go. Shit’s fucked.
