How did we go from “flatten the curve to ensure hospitals can cope with the influx of patients”
to
“please ensure hospitals remain more empty than they have ever been and then close down & then fire a million healthcare workers”
This is utter utter utter insanity and has to stop. We are killing and ruining the lives and futures of millions of people because politicians made promises and the media refuse to find anything else to cover. https://www.npr.org/2020/05/08/852435761/as-hospitals-lose-revenue-thousands-of-health-care-workers-face-furloughs-layoff

What????? Are you telling me your company paid you six figures to sit at home for OVER half of the year? ...there is a detail I'm missing unless you are one special snow flake
Carl stood up at AU and said no layoffs, so I would expect 0 VC and <5% merit raise. Unless you are really good and just a casualty of not a lot of work, then I would guess they'll do their level best to take care of you
Yeesh, associate? You won't be laid off but I would be prepared to be put in the 25% that gets no VC
Lol 80% - EY goal is 80%
I'm a 1st year associate in a rotation program in deal advisory. I'm assigned now in my current rotation but in my FDD rotation I was on the bench a lot. It wasn't my fault, it was just extremely slow during that time. I heard they don't give a shit about utilization for 1st years. It wasn't my fault that the deal flow wasn't as high as last year.
Last year I was at 8% and almost got fired but things turned around
Damn. I wish I could get away with that. I get emails at 80% utilization
Always a risk. Why are you 44%
Carl also said they will continue to evaluate bottom performers
What group are you in?
Yep, over 70% here and you're getting high gives
Yikes, are you an associate?
EY1 idk what group you are in but anything under 85% won't get you a promo so idk what they would high five 70 for
