I keep seeing those posts too, but a friend of mine is in LEK UK and they like it so far.

I would say the posts are a little exaggerated, but just look at Glassdoor. The facts don’t lie - it’s a rough place to work

LEK in general is similar to other consulting firms. Post MBA is completely awful for 6mo-1yr due to entering into a project leader role right away. If you can handle it, exit opps are unparalleled due to crazy experience right away.

Curious what others think about this: a friend of mine has a couple of months of leave this fall to study for the CPA exam (they’ll be paid a reduced salary during their leave), but they mentioned they have no intention of studying for the exam, and instead plan to use that time to look for another job. So for the last two years I have been an executive in a FT 200 company. And one my my primary roles is strategic advisor to the CPO on product strategy, management, design and GTM. It’s all around Fintech. And before that I worked in IT integration, app development, data analytics and IT strategy. What roles should I be thinking about inside a more pure tech firm? Anyone finds it manipulative and disingenuous for partners and directors to actively push you to take vacation due to it being slow. I said no already; I am well rested and will use my vacation when I am exhausted and need to. I do not know why I’ve been asked four times to take PTO. I will book a week's vacation when convenient for me, not when suitable for the firm.

I have trouble falling asleep every night. My performance has been decreasing due to poor sleep. No energy, motivation, excitement. I’ve tried tea, weed, melatonin. Any suggestions? I watch tv before going to sleep, but even when I don’t, still the same. So turning off, hasn’t helped either. On weekends I’m still exhausted since I tend to naturally wake up early.
