How good is idea to ask for WFH permanently or for an extened period of time by putting down papers (have few offers in line)? Would management entertain such requests. Currently working from office, and have asked my manager to consider the request instead he calls RTO mandate from management.

How often do you work on the weekends? For how long? I’ll start. 75% of the weekends this year - on average 5-6 hours for the weekends I worked. 30-40% of it is because I signed off early on Friday (like 3pm), the rest is extra work I had to do

I feel like the urge to run away whenever I'm unable to perform well or understand things. I feel like an impostor getting lucky along my career path. Deep down I know I can do it but I'm slow. Switching jobs is not the solution I feel as I've already tried that. I feel like if I communicate my shortcomings I'll be questioned of my prior experience. Feel like quitting and prepare for a government job or don't know what.If anybody has experienced this phase can you please advice.
