I have been in the Accounting sections in the automotive industry for 25 years.
I started as an A/P clerk and worked every desk until I reached Management.
I have done the Accounting manager desk for over 10 Years.
I was recently laid off due to the business not doing well financially.
For 3 weeks now, I have applied at every possible job I can do, and have not yet gotten a call back.
I have run my resume over and over thru chat gpt and it is as good as is gonna get.
Suggestions?

Sorry for the long rant, but could use advice or just encouragement.

Got laid off for the first time in my career 3 weeks ago. I have 10 years of PM experience (mostly ecommerce & experimentation). I was fortunate in the past to have had recruiters scout me directly so this is the first time in over a decade that I am applying to everything that I’m qualified for, mostly qualified for, and way over qualified for with zero leads. Only 3 interviews thus far that didn’t go forward.

One issue with the work from home revolution will be the offshoring of jobs. I got laid off and my replacement will be from Mexico City. One time zone away and probably half my salary. It is what it is.
