I have been reached out by the recruiter for a 60 minute phone interview call for Senior Program Manager role. I know most of the questions would be behavioural based and needs to be answered in the STAR format revolving around Amazon principles.

Are there any other preparation tips I should consider?

If anyone has had a similar experience, please let me know. Please advise if you have any suggestions.

How do find a recruiter in the legal field? Have been looking for a job for a year now and trying to transition into another practice area. Applied to more than 20 jobs and still no offers. I feel like I might need some help.
Also, I have no idea how these arrangements work. Do you pay the recruiter to look for the jobs or do you pay them when you get the job? Or does the employer pay them?

Had a first round interview scheduled for a large CPG brand. My interviewer never called me, and I emailed following up to confirm the call. It’s been over a day and no response. What is going on with recruiters? I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but not even an email back saying “something came up” or “we’ve moved on” ? I’ve been ghosted after every final interview during my recent job search, but never had I been ghosted before even having the first call??

I’m graduating in December, with a background in environmental economics and policy. Consulting didn’t work out this cycle. Made it to final rounds for Bain and Kearney but in the end didn’t get an offer. I want to recoup and try again, but I’m worried that once I’m out of undergrad the door will be closed to starting in consulting.

What can I do to make this happen? I have friends and connections at Bain and Kearney and the other firms as well, but not sure if it’s feasible now.

Is it a strategic disadvantage to not have an admissions consultant? I just cannot justify the cost of hiring them for my applications.

Finished my loop for a marketing role 2 weeks ago, and got an email the next day that they wanted to give me an offer. Had my initial call with recruiter to put the offer together. It was lower than I expected, and we ended that call positively as I needed some time to consider, and we agreed to follow up in a few days. Amazons excessive interviews are an awful candidate experience. Why do they think this will help them win top talent in this competitive environment? Especially with their public cultural issues…? Lots of great paying companies without having to take a day off from work to interview! It’s overkill

Hi everyone - I made it to the final round of interviews with Amazon for a Program Manager position. They initially asked if I would relocate and at the time I said yes - however, due to my husband’s new job I’m no longer able to relocate.

Went through multi-day loop for L5 SA and felt confident in my interactions. Presentation went well with no lack of answers for follow up questions. Just found out 6 days later I will not be receiving an offer, and it is policy to not provide feedback of gaps or reasons behind no offer. Also found out they ask you not to reapply for 1 to 2 years for same role. Would anyone recommend an alternate path for feedback on interview (outside of recruiter) and is the 1-2 year policy true?
