You may want to look at companies that implement any WMS or TMS software packages you are experienced with. They are often looking for people with practical experience using software.
Thank you, I did work with implementing SAP EWM in one of my last roles.
I would wait because consulting isn’t doing very well now. I was at a BIG4 in the SAP SCM practice. Honestly, I would stay away from consulting right now and look at more program/project management roles.
I would agree. Consulting is overly glorified.
Likely as a senior consultant at Big4 or Accenture with a path to promo quickly but it may be beneficial to look at Fortna, Tompkins, Bastian and other integrators
I’ve never known Mckinsey to work for free but they also have a supply chain practice.
I know that Target has worked with Deloitte in some of their supply chain initiatives and Grainger has worked with Accenture; Amazon notoriously doesn’t work with consulting firms as a general rule.
For logistics and transportation at the scale and complexity of automation you’re accustomed too, the integrators like Fortna, Tompkins, Honeywell, and those that offer robust design and controls solutions are probably the most seamless fits.
