Larsen & Toubro Infotech Hello Everyone I want to know the work life balance in LTI. I've heard that the culture is like BPO you've to spend 9 hours in the office even if your work is completed. They are very much strict about timings. If you're login time is 10 it should be 10 if you login at 10:15 you need manager approval. The projects are also of supports? I'm selected as Java developer in Lymbyc(LYM) Bu. Please it would be really helpful if you guys give me some insight especially Larsen & Toubro Infotech L&T Techn

Hi Fishes, I am considering a Senior Engineer role with Alteryx (previously Hyper Anna) Sydney. If it's not too much trouble, I was hoping if anyone here could share their experience of working at Alteryx Sydney in terms of Culture, work life balance, politics, work pressure, people, Leadership and product. Thanks.

Heyhey.
Looking to hire a product UX/designer to freelance and help design + run ideation workshops for our Fortune 100 client looking to drive innovation and create/incubate b2c apps.
Would be great if you also knew how to set up an intake form to get a specific brief in order to design the workshop.
Bonus if you know how to design and set-up early stage usability experiments via landing pages/figma to validate problems/solutions before developing a MVP.

So are you only depressed because you didn’t get your way with a promotion? For real OP? Can’t you take a few steps back, grow up, and make lemonade with those lemons you have?
Man. I wish I wasn’t promoted. I loved the lack of responsibility.
Forgive A1 for being a jerk.
Sounds like youre just on PMO. Mmt and engagement economics isnt hard and is kind of donkey work. What actual functional knowledge are you pushing? Can you lead projects and Drive from a technical aspect? You need to get on projects where you show that
Being friendly with people is not the same as giving them confidence you can perform at next level. You may have a perception like that, seems likely given your emotional response.
Was it a normal period of time when you should get promoted? If so, would not assume your partner/SM like or care about you. If it was an early promo, just be patient and focus on other things
I understand. Promotions are 50% political. Was passed over last year for SM last year but made it this year. The politics only keep getting worse with each level. Get used to it or look for another job.
Interesting. Probably a perception problem then
^or not enough open positions at the next level. My practice is too heavy and it's going to be hard to get promoted to Manager, let alone a level above that
Chill
What was the feedback? Did your counselor let you know why you weren't promoted?
@D1 I’m actually joining D. So I was on track for it and according to the leadership “I have a really good chance” but didn’t make it
OP you joining D with the promotion?
OP so going to another firm, did you get the promotion going there?
@EY3 thanks for the feedback
Feel your pain, OP. I’ve been doing exclusively Senior roles, I’ve been given the Senior title on projects, and I’m one of a few SMEs on a certain new topic at the firm. No promotion
@EY5 I’m the engagement manager on the project responsible for the status report and managing resources as well as building MMT and invoices (economics) and they won’t promote
Yes. Planned, designed process flow, built FDS, write UT, SIT and UAT, did training & cimmunicatiions
