I interviewed a month ago with an IB for a role I’m very much interested in. The hiring manager reached out to me 2 weeks after my last interview and told me they need more time. I haven’t followed up since and it’s been 3 weeks after that email. Should I check in with them any time soon or let it go?

I’m an SE who works 2 AE’s, and from looking at the market am on the bottom end of the pay scale. The company I work for has many different products/services (80+), so they wanted SEs to take on a local “SME” role in a specific area, to support other members of the team.

This role has ramped up quite a bit recently, and people have been coming to me for help with their deals (overviews, demos, POCs) which is increasing my workload.
