I just received an offer from NatWest Group with the following titles:

Job Title: WoW - Software Engineer B7

Corporate Title: Associate

I currently have 9 years of experience and hold a "Lead" designation at my current firm. I know this is an IC role, but I’m concerned about the leveling. Is B7/Associate equivalent to a Lead level in the industry, or is this a step down? Would love some insight from folks internally on where B7 sits in the hierarchy.

I am hearing that MBB is pausing majority of the interviews - should I be worried about my offer getting rescinded? I luckily got my offer a few months ago and received my signing bonus already.

From interview perspective, I enjoyed lucidworks interview as the interviews taken by quality people compared to other two companies. But it is a startup.

I have given 3 rounds of interview for the position of SE- B8 , i.e. Lead SE. Now in salary discussion round i asked HR for a CTC between a range of 31-34L. But they told me max they can give is 29.5L. I still did not accepted the initial offer from HR, it is going again one more round for salary negotiation after HR confirms the bracket from Business. I know Natwest dont negotiate once you accepted the offer. What CTC can i expect from Natwest for Lead SE.
