The CSR with the freedom unlimited is the perfect combo. You can transfer points to Chase ultimate reward to get 1.5cents/point for travel booking. Also don't forget lounge access, primary rental insurance and 3% earned on travel and dining. Use the freedom unlimited on non bonus categories to get 50%more points
Amex Platinum
Okay, so really Amex Platinum vs CSR? Anything else?
Agree. My personal is AMEX platinum. Hotel upgrades, rental car upgrades, $200 airline, $200 Uber, TSA precheck/global entry, priority pass, centurion lounges, and the list goes on and on.
And 300$ travel credit, lowers the yearly fees to 150$. And unlike Amex Platinum it's not only airline fees. Even Uber credit on Amex is 15$/month! Amex does have much better lounge access in the states. PriorityPass is great everywhere else
You can also apply for the Chase Ink (80k UR points / 100k if you apply in store). This s a business cc, so read up online regarding how to approach signing up for it if interested
The one thing I like about Amex Platinum (that CSR may have too) is Hilton gold, Marriott gold and status with Starwood too. National/Enterprise Executive elite is great too because you pay for midsize and get any car off the lot.

What if I don't travel very often for work, but like to eat out? Any change in preferences?
Read the articles of the points guy. Should make it easier to make a decision
