I left my old firm a few months ago and I just received a contribution to my old 401k and I believe it’s coming from a profit sharing plan that I was in. Am I able to rollover the full amount to my current 401k? Vanguard says it’s 25% vested so I don’t think I can

If you’re only 25% vested you’ll only be able to roll over 25% of it. Any of your contributions that were left in the old plan would of course transfer over 100%.

Yes you can, but you will forfeit 75% of the employer paid balance. Unless you plan to go back to your old firm, go ahead and roll over your 401(k) deferrals and your 25% vested employer contributions.

I'm working on a Fintech startup related to commercial banking pricing. We would like to do some "expert interviews" with current RMs (we would compensate your time.) We want to better understand the friction points when it comes to price C&I or CRE loans. Please DM me if you are interested.

We are not looking for any private information, but more anecdotal evidence of issues that can be improved.

I’m really discouraged. My after tax / after 401k contributions etc. take home pay is $6,500 monthly. I have $60,000 in savings / stocks for a down payment but even looking at a $550,000 home, my monthly payment would be about $3,400 from the calculators I’ve been using. Is that too high?

So discouraged that houses where I live are about 50% higher than what they were 2 years ago, and now interest rates are around 5.25% for my credit score. This is like a 1750 sq foot home

This is and always have been an issue, and you cannot figure out why the other shifts refuse to be active and participate in anything and definitely not engaged anymore.

Can someone help me with this? I had a low utilization since pandemic, I.e., ~sub 5%, but never missed any payments. Would credit score be impacted if only one line of credit with a low utilization?

Too few accounts currently paid as agreed

Scores consider the number of accounts that are paid as agreed. Your score was impacted because the number of these accounts is too low, or because you've missed payments recently on some of your accounts.

I recently sign a lease. The apartment will put my security deposit into an interest-bearing account and requires me to fill out a form W9. I will join EY this June and just wondering if this is ok in terms of the independence rule. I guess the apartment will put my deposit in some sort of funds. Anyone with EY has experience? Reading the independence brochure, looks like it does not specify something related to this scenario but just wanted to confirm . TIA!
