I make 30/hr right now in tech pmo .. Should I quit to make 57/hr doing more or less the same work but on w2 for some indian firm with no incl benefits.. I'm married and do need benefits in some way

I have a meeting Friday to go over my contract offer. Would this be considered the negotiation and if so, what are some things besides salary that I should try for in terms of perks and benefits?

There have been many positive changes in my life and while I feel better, at the same time I am scared of losing it soon. Changed to a job that has better culture and aligns with my goals, got more active and social, back to my hobby, able to have free counseling now under new firm's benefits and the new therapist seems more helpful than the ones before, casually seeing some great guys… I feel my mental state is so "hyped" that idk if this "good" feeling will last…

I just started as an auditor in PA and am getting interview requests form non accounting firms for finance related roles. Does it make sense to consider these kinds of positions before making senior? These roles are for almost double my current salary and seem to have better benefits. Would leaving now and not making senior make future career moves more difficult? Anyone here left public before senior, how did that play out?

Every other week, I think of leaving B4 Partnership and do something different like working for a big tech or a startup or even start my own business. I am not too much worried about sacrificing my yearly income but leaving the pension on the table is too much of a bitter pill to swallow. I am 13 years away from retirement and been a Partner for 7 years. More time I spend here, I get less motivated (financially) to leave. Did anyone of you deal with this dilemma successfully? Thanks!

Does anyone have a foolproof process for those mystery daycare stains?

I use the Puracy stain remover from Amazon as a pretreatment and that gets 90% of things. If that doesn't work, I try a Shout stain remover and a pre soak in Oxyclean. If that doesn't work, I mourn (and realistically still put my kid in that clothing item anyway).

So is the key to climbing up the ladder in consulting to sign up for a bunch of tasks, outsourcing all of them to good junior people by packaging it as a good learning opportunity, and then taking credit for the work?
