I moved to a different company, which at first glance appeared promising eventually displayed similar traits of previous job. . As a result, I decided to look into other career options and accepted a position that was very different from what I had previously held. Unfortunately, I had trouble adjusting to the new setting and decided to step down after just two weeks. I'm currently in a phase where I'm switching between jobs. It's rough 😔

Good luck finding a job that fits your needs and skills.

I am sorry to hear this OP because I have been there and these types of transitions can definitely be rough. I am glad you left the company that wasn't a good fit and hope that you are able to find something better soon. Best of luck to you OP>

Has anyone started an S-corp and later gone full time? Husband has been freelancing full time since last summer. Initially we thought it would be six months before converting to FT, but he’s been extended as an independent contractor until 2023. Ideally that sticks because he’s making north of $300k but he’s been hesitant to go S-corp in case they decide to make him convert. What happens to the S-corp in that scenario?

I'm early in my career, managed to save $30K to invest, and want to get my hands dirty with a rental property without too much risk (e.g. no HML/flipping). It sounds like that's a tall order in the NY/CT area given the prices, not to mention whether I'd be able to get a mortgage on anything below $100K, but I figure I'll give it a shot anyway. Any advice on what you might do in my position? Am I being crazy with this idea?
