Have a 4 round loop interview for Sr. Product Manager at Amazon coming up through the MBA pathways program soon.
If I land it the trajectory of my life and that of my family changes but I'm starting to feel the pressure. I haven't had a lot of traction for job searching since I graduated in December so this is the best lead I have and I'm getting scared now.

I have been helping clients transfer into different positions for the past 20 years. Most people do not realize the skills that they've been using every day and how those are transferable to a new position. Here's some homework for you - I'm sorry in advance, it is going to be a complete pain, however the information you will gain from this homework is invaluable.
Write down every single thing you do at work for 3 to 4 days. I mean everything... There are many things you do every day that you just do without thinking. It's not occurring to you that these tasks that you are performing could be valuable to another employer. You will be surprised at the end of four days how much you actually do, how many skills you actually have, and how valuable you are.
I had a client in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, who wanted to come across the river and find a job in Philadelphia. I had her do this homework. The next week she reported back to me that we needed to change the type of job she was looking for because after doing the homework, she realize she was doing her bosses job. With that information with elevated her job search.
This is homework worth doing for everyone… Good luck.
Awesome! I'm going to do the same!

Managing people is always a transferrable skill. Retail gives you customer service skills, time management, etc.
You just have to figure out what your next move is and what you need to do to position yourself to get there.
I’m following the hack out of this post! I don’t think my company was a sinking ship but they decided after many many many years that they were going to be better without me! That was my career my entire career and now what? I mean really what? I have no idea what to do but I know my bills are based on that salary and I have no salary and I’m watching my things I earned slowly go back to to the bank…
Dont worry there is other plenty jobs you can do: start applying something else you dont feel comfortable there anymore. Trust me every job has learning experience
Target is a very difficult company to work for. The management on all levels up to the C Suite are out of touch and advancement is just going to a new area that you will be stuck in for another decade. Pivoting out of retail is not easy. Try looking at jobs within your state. State jobs can pay well and need no experience in most cases.
Why do you feel is a sinking ship?
I work with many clients in the same position and ask the same questions. It isn't always a simple answer. If you would like I would be happy to take a few minutes to speak with you.

I know someone who was a manager at Vera Bradley. She left to be a bank branch manager.
Been promoted to guest because my fiancee left me and I had to move in with my parents/sibling.
