None. Amex doesn't do anything until you're 30 days late, just pay by the cycle date.
Worst case lose your points, otherwise nada
Wow, thanks folks. I think you just prevented a panic attack haha.
Our policy is totally different. We are fully responsible for paying everything down, and you can use it for personal or corporate expenses. But I promise you they take not paying your Corp card on time very seriously. That and not doing required ethics trainings (stupid I know) are major no-no's that can impact year end ratings and depending on how severe result in termination. Just saying, if you have the money pay down now...
Why is it that corporate Amex has fake due dates? Why can't they just tell you the real due date?
I've missed my Plat and Gold by a few days the past few months. No consequences. Usually even the case with long standing credit cards.
Lol
Corporate or personal card?
Corp
Oh, absolutely nothing. At least at Pwc.
I wish I could link to the thread where the one person said they hadn't paid their corporate card in 6 months and didn't have the funds. That was amusing.
Yea I'm always like a week or 2 late
How do you not have the funds? Doesn't it get directly billed to a wbs?
Don't let these people make you comfortable. That and fudging expenses are two things acn will actually fire you for. You should pay it down.
Well, acn2 is right. If you just don't pay your Amex for 90 days at Pwc they legally have to separate you from the firm because I think we audit Amex.
And if you are using your Corp card consistently for personal expenses (non business related personal items purchased on a trip and paid back in a timely manner (movie rental at the hotel) are usually ok as long as you pay through Amex, but just paying for dinner that is in no way related to client business is cause for termination.
But if you just forgot to clear your expense buffer then you are 100% fine as long as you fix it now.
I knew someone who bought his wedding ring on his green Amex. The auditors loved that play.
