I am making this post because I am seeking employment. I have a vast amount of experience in a wide variety of fields & a knack for learning new skills quickly. I would gladly send you my resume to aid my search. Currently, I am writing my dissertation & will complete my PhD by Dec. 2021. I would appreciate any referrals to job leads anyone offers. If you have info/suggestions that will help me in this endeavor, please email me at mrschristopherw@hotmail.com or reply to this post. Thank you.
How much time Mindtree take to release offer letter? I am waiting from last 2 weeks or more. On their candidate portal it is showing Shortlisted, however no offer letter . I have called the HR 2-3 times in past 5 days, however HR doesnt pick up my calls.
Below is the email i received from Mindtree, a week ago.
We would like to inform you that you have been selected in final interview with Mindtree. We are currently in process of taking your candidature for further processing.

What's your background? What roles are you applying for? Is your resume tailored to the JD? Is it always ATS compliant?
These are some of the check boxes you need to tick before you even meet human interface. Use websites that allow you track your resume vis a viz the published job description.
Goodluck
There are a number of them but comes to midn right now Jobscan.com
You can share your resume with me and I can review and give feedback, I would say getting a referral helps but may be difficult if you’re not a good fit.
People meme on Big 4 (and people are gonna meme on this comment) but reality is even though we aren’t in the the top echelon of consulting, we are still ~relatively~ selective in the grand scheme of things.
Deloitte is more selective than Harvard.
It's true

Considering there is absolutely no information we have to work with, the only thing I can say is that most firms have slowed hiring, so it may be a matter of timing.
2 ideas: 1) go to jobscan.com and you can do 5 free scans comparing your resume/credentials to the job; 2) get an internal referral
Get a referral
Do you have consulting experience?
No consulting experience yet posting as Consultant in this bowl is sure a vibe
Are you black listed?
How would a recruiter know a candidate is blacklisted? Maybe use a pseudonym?
Just make sure you give them a legal name after moving forward for background checks (typically don't occur until paperwork)
Maybe drop a resume
Best way to improve your chances is message a consultant in a big four and ask for a coffee/ chat/ teams call.
Make an impression such that they will keep an eye out for your application and it won’t just be lost out in the ether.
Leverage the fact that there are still some large recruitment bonuses on the table for existing consultants who recommend applicants. Ultimately, if you’ve got potential then they are more than likely to give you a shot - particularly if you have a qualification too ie. CIMA/ ACA/ FCA etc
Is KPMG not freezing hiring yet?
What kind of background do you have? You are describing yourself as a consultant but you just said in this thread that you have no consulting experience, how is that so? Also how many year of experience do you have on your back?
You need referral!!
Huh?

We hired some folks with completely random backgrounds in the peak of covid. I think it’s more bc of the economy/influx of campus hires. However, I would recommend a referral as well. I know our resume screening system is absolute garbage
I like to the confidence (that you have what the consulting firms need), that is the first battle and you are doing good on it but ill placed confidence is more dangerous than helpful.
You need to talk to an honest consultant leader and you may find out that Probably the problem is that you are not aware of what consulting firms are looking for.
All big four are freezing or have frozen experienced hiring. Everyone is battening down the hatches for a recession the like of which no one living has seen. Stay in your current job and do it well, we’ll still be here and hiring when we come out the other side
So dark…

Post resume, and you deff can still get referrals
Right now is a big time for campus hires, so they may be taking the lower level consulting jobs you’re interested in.
Maybe get a PM or Agile certification to help your chances. I did and once my cert was on my resume, I immediately started getting interviews.
Have a PMD referral to come back to Deloitte, but there is a hiring freeze in all OPs right now for CCG. Additionally, they said a lot of the job postings for many roles that aren’t tech are old and outdated, just haven’t been removed.
So even with a referral Deloitte is trying to avoid the layoff situation that happened in 2020.

OP - where do you work right now? Big 4 is picky and usually prefer people from better schools. For experienced hire, they will get picky and prefer people coming from organizations at the same tier (big 4) or higher. Its only when they need a very niche skill or rare to get experience, they will reduce the threshold of where you are coming from. Another point to note is demand and supply - last two years could have been an exception because people were just hard to get but things will be back to what it was.
Sometimes you just need someone to get you an internal referral but it only works if you haven’t applied by yourself within the last 12 months
