Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

Note sure how old you are but the Fed’s medical and retirement benefits are GREAT!! I would give that serious consideration.
It’s not even close - Fed pays for ridiculous things in it’s benefits package including legal services, 100% graduate school tuition, 100% IVF treatments, continuing education, matching 401k AND pension, etc.
First thing I’d do is make a list of things that are important to me. Location, age of co-workers, etc. from there, I would use that list to compare the jobs.
I'll definitely try that!
Fed 100%
Fed
Go for the Fed.
If you’ve got a shot at the Fed, take that first. You can always boomerang between the two (they like to poach each other’s talent) once you’ve been on the Fed’s payroll. They prioritize internal candidates first, then former employees. Fed is almost impossible to get into these days, the perks/benefits are insane and unheard of in the private sector. That said, the pace is MUCH slower and you will not learn nearly as much. - Current Fed employee
