I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. Mortgage PITI payment would be about 50% of take home pay, but it fits easily within my budget. We max out 401k, HSA, and backdoor Roth. We also have about 150k in savings in case things get tight and saving an additional 1k per month. Is this still too tight?

Is it weird that I get annoyed whenever my boss subtly implies that I should apply what I've learned in my graduate program to work?
