I recently went to trial with a white partner who I long considered to be my mentor. The lead trial attorney (poc) and I grew close during this experience and mentor basically admitted to being jealous of this. Now I hear from trial attorney that white mentor is talking badly about me to other partners in the firm. I’m at a satellite office of a large firm so mentor wields a lot of influence. Idk how long this has been going on, but time to leave, right?

I'm a younger plaintiff's side attorney (31). Does anyone else feel like white attorneys give you a particularly harder time?
