Hi Fishes, I am bit confused to pick the role in KPMG lighthouse as Sr Cloud Data architect or Saama technology as a Project lead. Money wise it is not a big difference. In KPMG I will work with partner where as in saama I will work with project/program manager. Please suggest your opinion. Saama KPMG KPMG India

Does Web3 make sense to you?
Like business and web 3 don't really coexist from my perspective. I'd be interested to hear an argument for or example of a possible web3 business if you've got one.
No it does not. I can send you BTC and vice versa without an centralized authority whatsoever. No one involved but me, you, and the peer to peer network of millions of nodes validating that the transaction happened.
That’s the magic of BTC.
What is your question?
Good point. Didn’t have enough space to give my full thoughts so there was some room for interpretation. Sorry.
I am curious on what specific skills these companies are looking for that I either do have (and can discuss potential opportunities with them) or don’t have (and can make them my goals to exit to one of these positions).
What are your skillets? You mentioned a cyber background but not having the technical knowledge. I recently exited to Coinbase and during my interviews, it was important to them that I show my experience in my domain more than having a crypto background.
Yeah and see this is my fear. I feel on a scale of 1-10 I have both crypto and cyber knowledge at like a 5-7 in my opinion.
Idk how much of it is impostor syndrome versus the truth.
I definitely see after only 1 external interview that the domain knowledge is much more important. Although the people I have spoke with who worked at these crypto companies always highlighted how having a passion for crypto goes farther than I think.
I’m trying to find a healthy balance. Sorry for the rambling, this partially is me venting and formulating my own thoughts and ideas.
