I want to exit into the crypto/web3 space more than anything. My biggest passion area and I would love to leverage my 3 YOE in cyber consulting to do it.

I’m not necessarily super technical. Had my first interview for an exchange and got turned down sadly. Idk if it was my interview skills or my lack of technical cyber knowledge.

I understand the big picture for IT Programs (prioritizing risk, federal guidance, compliance) and have a similar understanding of the web3 industry.

Taking my shot in tech sales. Consulting was great experience but enjoyed the relationship and BD aspect more and didn’t see myself climbing to partner. Starting in a junior BD Rep role to learn prospecting and earn quota history. Took a big paycut for the potential future earnings as an Account Exec. Did I dun goof? Probably. I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.
