Have you ever taken a job you know you will hate because you needed the money right away? I have a family to take care of. I don't want to be plowing through our savings for selfish reasons like my mindframe at work, but I don't want to make our lives worse by being miserable. It's a matter of really ruining some of our financial future if we don't get money soon.

24 year old moving to the west coast from the east coast and living in a big city. I don’t really know anybody in this city. I’m debating if I want roommates. I think I’d like the perks of living alone, but I’d also love to have someone to be around just generally. As a divorcee with a kid, i find it extremely hard to find friends who can relate, or even making friends as it seems there’s a stigma attached to you because your relationship didn’t work out.

How have you combated your fear of rejection? I fixate on such small things as when my friends, for example, reject plans I have made. This definitely makes me more averse to putting myself out there and makes me ruminate on past perceived failures, which are clearly not good for personal growth

Any ideas on how to keep kids social distanced while walking in line? Teaching personal space in line is difficult in normal years, but I'm not sure how I'll teach them to stay 6ft. apart as they walk or wait in line...

I have realized I grew up in a household where my dad did not treat my mom as an equal. He belittles her, is rude and convinced his way is the only way.
