I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

No they won’t ask about your performance. Unless you pissed off someone from your prior firm that knows the recruiter I don’t see how you would be impacted. If anything they’ll ask why you are leaving which is easily explained (wlb, boring work, etc).
I wouldn’t mention anything about KPMG, they’ll probably only care about most recent employment.
Probably not, but what are you looking to accomplish by jumping to a third big 4 position? Does the increase in performance correlate to a better working environment for you?

First jump was due to performance, now I’m looking to try other SLs. I’m going to try internal transfer first and go for the option of switching firms if this doesn’t work out
No way. They won’t ask and you don’t tell. Just focus on your more recent experience at ey.
This question is coming from a top performer? No one cares + switching again might not be a great idea since all the big 4 have different quality standards
Are you trying to complete the b4 syndicate or something? Lol
Just curious, was it a hard transition from KPMG to EY as an A2? I’m an A2 who got “meets expectations”, but was told by managers I might not get promoted because they didn’t think I was “senior ready”. I thought I did everything right and all I could my A2 year and think switching firms might be an option if I don’t get promoted as an opportunity to grow

It was very manageable for me - they kind of almost treated me like a new hire, and made me feel safe to ask questions. but I had really great team and seniors and managers who were patient with me and invested their time.. You’d need some team luck. But overall, it wasn’t too difficult. Research the SL/Team culture before you jump too. Also when you apply to big 4 consider applying as a senior. If they don’t think you are ready they (ie recruiter) will suggest you apply for experienced assocoate anyways, so aim high initially haha good luck
If you left on your own, then I wouldn’t say anything. The only thing the recruiter will ask us reasons for leaving. Better opportunity is a general response. If you can locate a reference, that will also help. They may want one from the employer before your current one.
