Does Google value FAANG experience over consulting? Say if a person is trying to get into Google from Apple, will it be considered easier?

How can one transition from a Visual/graphic designer in marketing to a product designer? And what’s it like being a product designer w a visual design background? One of my junior associates recently resigned and I've been trying to make an exit myself for several months now. I got an offer from McKinsey and Oliver Wyman. Both for Engagement Manager. Similar base, small differences in bonus. Wanted to go with McK but having second thoughts now, as I truly loved OW people through the interview process and seemed like a “family style office to me. Any advice?

Who else started with small businesses and moved up to medium and large at agencies structured to handle it? I handle 40 clients and some 60 Content managers, ad managers, designers, developers, and a smattering of other positions.

Which was better? I have almost complete autonomy over what happens with small biz, but getting to focus on projects for more than an hour/month sounds nice.

Any Type B people in account? The teams I’ve worked with have primarily been Type A people. As a Type B person, it’s stressful for me and makes me feel bad for being Type B.

Can you lose your job if you don’t like the animosity from your creative team and speak up about it ? Genuinely worried I might be disrupting the peace by saying something 🥴 the anxiety is terrible! Do I just accept it that they don’t like me or speak up and potentially burn that bridge?
