I was so excited when I joined PwC. However, have been really stressed due to layoffs. Project is OK, but still antsy. Can't help but think about jumping or MBA.

MBB fish: what happens when an Associate/Consultant is found to be enrolled in a PT MBA, after not telling anyone during the interview process? Is that cause for termination?

Anyone have advice for advancing in your current role? My co-worker was hired in at manager level but somehow “proved” he was actually doing director level work and got a title promotion and salary increase in less than a year. I also went above and beyond my job as well (covering for him for a month while he was away on paternity leave) while taking on other projects outside of my job title and got zip—no raise or recognition. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi fishes good morning. I joined CapG on 26th may 2021 as a Associate consultant.  Till this date i got appraisal as well as promotion also.
But this is not sufficient  for a 5 year experience Data Engineer. So i resigned on 12 th june 2022. My current CTC is 9 lpa and i asked them 15lpa for retain. Feeling burnt out and unmotivated with agency life. Throughout the past year I’ve been added to a variety of “problem accounts” with challenging, disorganized and rude client contacts. Since then, it feels my teams have dwindled and I’ve been left to pick up the pieces / manage it all. I’m struggling to feel inspired and am starting to dread my work. Do you consider it ethical that his career counselor is intentially spreading the information to his colleagues and to other consultants from other companies in the project? What can he do about it? Specially that he considers the potential layoff is purely based on the current situation (chargeability was low) and not on his performance (they said that his contribution to BD during his bench time was low)?
