Why not life sciences and healthcare?
Long story short. I am desperately trying to move out of US (I am not a citizen) and want to move to Middle East. If I continue to work in life sciences as a consultant or scientist in pharma company, I will make it harder for myself to do the transition.
Not with BCG anymore so can’t directly help but look at BCG advanced degree candidates (ADC). There is an ADC recruiter / lead for each office. Good luck!

Most firms hire PhDs with the expectation that they will add credibility to a particular practice area. I’m not saying it’s impossible to find a generalist role, but I do think it would be much easier to land a LS role.
