Hi everyone! Does anyone in here work for Omada Health ? I have an interview next Wednesday for a PT Member Support Agent role and am unclear on what the pay could be. Glassdoor has the pay estimate at 42k-48k, but I found a comment where someone in the same role mentioned only getting paid $12/hr. I have 8 years of experience as a CSR but I’ve had a couple year gap in between now and my last job. TIA Any advice helps .
A BCG recruiter ghosted me after she reached out to schedule an interview. How long should I wait before following up? What is the common courtesy to give to ppl at BCG. I don’t wanna come off as too aggressive but I really need to get this interview set as there are other pending confirmations Boston Consulting Group
Guys , whoever is interviewing and planning to join , do ask project availablity on priority basis before you take decision. On Java front looks like there is some project issue due to recent slowdown in market. My offer was not revised even after agreement with recruiter because of this.

I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Farmers did this within the last few years. Luckily, there are many insurance companies hiring.
So did GEICO
I'm a broker at a large firm. Insurance is so incestuous . Everybody moves everywhere so I'm sure you can get a job really easily at another carrier . Everyone is always looking . I think the only issue right now would be a lot of companies freeze hiring until after the New Year because of the holidays . If they do fire you you'll get unemployment . But I don't think you'll have trouble finding another job
It's been tough getting on with other carriers! I even applied for remote part-time evening/ overnight customer service jobs so I can stash extra money away......No luck there lol. BUT! I understand it's a numbers game and I'll keep applying.
Switch to being a Public Adjuster and leave the dark side. Just sayin...
How is the pay?
Insurance is in the toilet now. I have worked 30 years in the health insurance side and have been laid off due to mergers and/or plan shuttering 5x. No one wants to look for a new job, but start getting your resume together,
I read below and found it is SF. Right now, there is something going on w/SF. One of my friends is a TM in a diff dept. She told me if you aren't well liked, or "the perfect employee" many TM's are being told to FIND reasons to get rid of people. Even for simple things like an unapproved absence and such (even if it was for a Dr Appt or family emergency). SF is no longer the company it used to be. I recently had a TM that was trying to get me and another girl fired. I went to the EEOC and an attorney with what I had and was told they would be glad to take the case once I was "harmed." Who wants to go through that though. "Harmed" means fired or missed out on a position in this case. I love what it used to stand for years ago, but what it stands for now... can't be spoken politely.
It seems that way to me. I remember hearing years ago to never to work for SF, because of LOW pay and micromanagement. But, I wanted a career change and gave it a shot.
But, I really think it's unfortunate to treat employees this way. I believe most people would rather hear a straightforward message like, "We can't afford to keep everyone," instead of being manipulated.
Offshore and nearshore companies are going to continue to creep in. There is no department within insurance safe from this. If any team is offshore in the org they are already looking at ways to do it for every team. They cost 40% of the cost and will put 20 more hours in a week. Trust me I was recently offshored.
Is this accelerating across the industry?
Everybody’s been saying there’s gonna be economic disturbance for the last two years. Insurance is full of economic disturbances. Every year we don’t have a lot of hurricanes were that much more assured that next year we’re gonna have a whole lot of hurricanes.
What does the Farmers Almanac say?
What type of insurance do you work with?
The entire claims department of that place is unreasonable. I was let go a few months ago for my claim inventory being so high, and not allowed to get rid of claims because of certain criteria. 9+ years of success and hard work at that place just to be eliminated after asking for guidance multiple times and telling my TM I was considering taking STD (let go the next day).
That's upsetting! I really hope you find an employer and manager that appreciates you..., But that TM should be ashamed!!!!!!! Things like this catch up to people like that all the time....
What company?
I too work there and it is very stressful in Express. The unrealistic metrics on handling calls is too much. No matter how hard I work to professionally serve a customer, the bottom line to them is to do it in a short amount of time. I am not a lazy worker & I don’t cut corners for a number. I treat customers the way I want to be treated when I call a company.
What does “economic disturbance” mean?
I experienced this at a major insurance company as well. the #1 to be exact
So you mean State Farm? Become a broker its much better
Fully remote, I have worked in office for a few positions. I prefer remote, however, that is the introvert part of my personality. In the case of where I am employed if you are hybrid or remote depends on where you live.
I am a Virginia licensed P & C agent looking desperately for a new position. I was laid off August 1st and still absolutely no luck. If anyone has suggestions of how to land a role i welcome the help. I get thru 3rd and 4th interviews and then get we are going with another candidate. Yet the job posting remains... also are we all going to be replaced by AI in the next 10 years? Thoughts? Thank so much in advance.
