I work for a regional firm in the Midwest and just had my 2 year anniversary. If I moved to Minneapolis what could I expect for salary from a B4 firm? I’d assume I’d come in as a 3rd year staff?

Does anyone have a similar experience? I interviewed with recruiters from two of "Big 4". Both interviews went well, and I was told the recruiters will submit my resume to the partners and senior managers for the next interviews. 3 weeks later, I received the rejection letters without the next interview.
