I worked as an administrative assistant for 13 years and just last year left my job working for the Army to be a dispatcher for the opportunity to make more pay and to work from home. After only a year at this company, I am being laid off due to my company downsizing because they lost a big contract. Does anyone know of any companies hiring for remote jobs? I have applied to some through Glassdoor but wondering if anyone knows of any companies that have open remote positions.

I got an offer with TCS and initially selected joining date as Jan 2.. but current org released me in 1 month instead of 3 months.. I asked TCS HR and others for early Onboarding but they didn't respond well..

Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal? I know another AA that handles 3+ people but idk if she’s hourly or salary. Any thoughts?
