Our 5 month old started daycare about 5 weeks ago. We’ve already had to keep her home for 2.5 of those 5 weeks due to catching various illnesses (croup, rsv, brinchiolitis, etc). Both my wife and I have been sick most of that time as well (gotten it from the baby). Wife is thinking we get a full time nanny for the next 4 months to help the baby build antibodies. Cost aside, is this feasible / worthwhile to go thru the effort / finding the right fit, only for 4 months?

Has anyone dealt with coming to terms with an emotionally abusive relationship? One of my best friends growing up just passed away. We lost contact with each other a year or two after graduating high school and I recently came to learn he was was battling cancer the past 5 years and ultimately succumbed to the illness. He hid it well from everyone and led a very private life during it all. To make matters worse, he had just turned 25. Seeing pictures of the condition he was in towards the end of his fight broke my heart. I wish I had known so I could’ve been there for him.

She even played game when we had the movie night.
