If firm undergoes layoffs do internal roles also get cut? (HR, recruiting, etc)?

Not sure if this is the right step but I’m a little desperate since I was laid off about a month ago and now finally landed a PM interview. As part of the process, i have to complete a take home assessment, which I have completed. Will it be possible for someone here to review my assessment and give feedbacks before I present it to the hiring manager so that I get all corners covered? It would be a HUGE help. Thank you!

I was affected by layoffs about a month ago and urgently looking for a good immigration lawyer. The lawyer should be experienced in handling this 60 day grace period situation and developing alternate strategies - such as change of status to B1/B2 or applying to jobs from India. There is a lot of noise and wrong information going in the market so looking for good recommendations.

I am having doubts in my mind regarding a job offer. I have been working for more than 4 years in Accenture and now I am being promoted to analyst level in September. With market correction and promotion, I might get somewhere around 30% increment. However, wipro has given me an offer with around 55% hike on my current salary but on senior associate level only. Hello, I have been struggling with entire topic of communication skills.
It’s not that I am bad at communication but I always feel I can do better and improve in that area. What I am missing is good practice/ tactics/ training around it. Do you some recommendation and suggestion here? I am willing to invest time on it but have no clue how to create plan of actions.

Advice for those who find out they weren’t promoted : I wasn’t promoted last year. I was furious . Was considering resigning. My coach gave me the truth why I wasn’t promoted “I wasn’t ready”, but I had potential to get there. 1 year later, crushed it again this year, and found out I am getting promoted this cycle.

I look back and realize that they were right. I wasn’t ready. That promotion would have set me up to fail as a Manager 1. A career is a marathon not a sprint
