Where are all the cute lawyers 😍😛
Fears of a recession are reasonably causing people to take a second look at their job security. Seeing as many lawyers are working in specialty tax within PA how many of you are worried about a potential slowdown/layoffs within specialty tax? If not why do you feel you won’t be as affected? Booz for sure. The people are incredible. Work life balance. Variety of projects. Endless growth opportunity. Career control. Etc
I would go with Booz any day. The firm hires you for a career not a job. You have endless opportunity with them even when the contract ends, it never ends with them. What a company!
Generally I would recommend Booz over EY simply because the market share and thus variety of project availability is just that much greater. But if EY is offering a TS or above, I wouldn't underestimate the value of that if you're hoping to keep the cleared space as an option. It is great for job security if not pleasant client site experiences.
If you tell Booz you want a higher clearance, there's a very high chance they'll sponsor you for one.
Cyber > IT Audit.
I was interviewed by three different people. My first interview was 1 on 1.. second one was 1on 1 as well but the third one was with two people. Good vibes. Very nice people I must admit! The interview seems to be very laid back but don’t get comfortable. First impression counts so just be humble, be energy, stay true to yourself and you’ll be fine
Booz has legit capabilities in cyber. It’s basically their only successful commercial offering. Everyone I’ve met at EY in GPS seems to do audit and it sounds like a monkey could do their job.
Ooo ooo... ahh ahhh....
I had my interview with Booz last Thursday and I am patiently waiting to hear something from them. No hope is lost yet. My fingers crossed
Don't lose hope! May I ask what the in-person interview process is like? Did you have multiple 1on1 interviews, or was it more of a panel? Any advice would be greatly appreciated ITBA1!
Have you discussed the clearance aspect with Booz yet? Do they know that's something your interested in?
