Hi everyone, I am 4.9 years experienced , I joined Fractal 3 months ago as a data engineer, but still haven't got any project. Process is so slow that I have received only 4 to 5 project calls. I switched in hopes that will learn the new tech and tools. But now i am starting to forget even the one i knew. Should i go for change or wait a little more time as fractal is reputed in AI/ML? I have interview lined up with Impetus as for now. Would it be better choice?

ASAP. Negotiate your start date. It rarely works out perfectly, so better to have lead time.
@OP - it’s a better idea to start early. Even if you just tell them at the top that you can’t start until November. Call it an informational interview if you want. Skype or phone, they don’t need to fly you out today. But yeah - get yourself on the radar now so that when something does open up somewhere you wanna be, November is the perfect start date for both of you.
Plus, a lot of people don’t have much hiring money in Q4 (November-December) so if they already know they like you and want you there this will give them a chance to plan for that budgetary-wise.
@AD1, do you think it’d be a prob at all if I really can’t move to November. Like they won’t try and get me to come earlier?
OP as mentioned before it will likely not work out perfectly. However, working out things leading up to the date and having the option to work with the new hire is ideal. Alternatively, if you wait until the ideal window opens up: the offer could go away, you will likely be pressed to find apartment, roommate, car, etc. All of this takes time, so best to be in front of it.
