Why would you resign on labor day? Makes no sense.
Always quit on the earliest day of the month to max insurance.

I've never heard of a 2 week notice in advisory. If you put the notice in today, they'll send a courier to your house same day to pick up your laptop if you can't make it into the office.
I'm in assurance. So from what you've heard, your last day is when you put your notice in? For pay, too?
Yea that's what I've seen from 4 colleagues who left advisory (to competitors) in the past 6 months. You switch from an asset to liability once the notice goes out.
It depends. Whether you are on a project or not, what your role is and how sensitive is the information that you are working on. Some people put the notice in and done the same day or next day. Some people was offered to stay couple extra days so they can have certain health insurance converge before next adventure.
I'm still on my parents insurance bc I have younger siblings. Sounds like I should put my notice in on my one year anniversary to avoid having to repay anything
