I just started my job a month ago. It was my 2nd choice role at this company. I didn't realize the chaos I was walking into, and while it's not toxic (yet), I had hopes of more work life balance and an actual "belonging to a team" feel. I basically skipped onboarding and jumped right into working, boss skipped a huge working session I "led" but had no clue how to lead and I was put on the spot. Applying to a dream job but if I don't get it might keep browsing. Is leaving worth the consequences?

I have a in person(online, 4 hours - 4 people) technical interview coming up and I have been practicing my coding for the past 3 weeks. The only thought I've been having is "what if I can't solve the coding question?" I am still fairly new to the software engineer scene and the position is for a level 1 software engineer.
Does it essentially end my chances if at any point I can't solve the question? I mean I will definitely attempt to talk it through, ask question, but no progress in code. 🤷
